Gastronomic tour across Menorca with Borja Beneyto “Matoses”
Named one of the “20 most influential people in the Spanish food industry”, Borja Beneyto is a member of the Royal Academy of Gastronomy and a contributor to media such as Condé Nast Traveler, Food & Wine Magazine, Editorial Planeta, MasterChef, Netflix (The Final Table), CNN (Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown), El Mundo, Tapas Magazine, Robb Report and Diari Menorca, among others.

Friday
8 pm.
Visit to Torralba d’en Salort estate by a tour guide focusing on Minorca’s Prehistory and History, who will take us on an incredible journey through the history of one of the most emblematic places on the island. Torralba d’en Salort (located in the municipality of Alaior) is one of the most beautiful and best preserved prehistoric settlements in Menorca
8.45 pm.
Private dinner at Torralba d’en Salort, where we will enjoy a gastronomic proposal by Bonita Menorca, a restaurant group the initiatives and projects of which seek to enhance the local gastronomic and cultural scene. Its flagship project is the Binifadet Bodega.
Saturday
10.30 am.
Private tour of St. Philip’s Castle (built in the 16th century by order of King Philip II of Spain). An expert tour guide will reveal to us the secrets of this military construction (perhaps more unknown than others on the island) and its surprisingly unique history.
1.30 pm.
Menorca is a true paradise for food lovers, and enjoying David de Coca’s creations at Sa Llagosta is a dream come true. He makes the best lobster stew, a dish that pays tribute to this seafood delicacy.
Sunday
9.30 am.
Breakfast at the Son Felip organic farm. Enjoy a unique concept and great local homemade products in an unbeatable location. A mecca for those who say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
11.30 am.
Visit to Alaior Art Contemporani (LOAC), one of the latest additions to Minorca’s cultural landscape. This amazing museum displays works by Joan Miró, Antoni Tàpies, Antonio Saura, Jaume Plensa and Miquel Barceló, to name a few.
1.30 pm.
To end on a high note, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch at Sa Pedrera des Pujol. Dani Mora’s proposal is inspired by traditional Minorcan cuisine, with a signature touch and the best local produce.
The price per person for this experience is 1.450 €
The price includes all transfers from the recommended hotel to the experience locations.
The accommodation and travel expenses to Menorca are not included.
In the event that for reasons beyond the control of the organization or due to force majeure the planned program suffers any modification, the organization will be in charge of offering substitute experiences of the same type. Likewise, the organization will notify registered people of these changes before the activities take place.
