Gastronomic journey across Minorca with Borja Beneyto “Matoses”
Borja Beneyto “Matoses” is the best food critic in Spain, and together with him we have designed the Séptimo Cielo getaway in Menorca. He will join us in all the culinary events taking place throughout the weekend.
The getaway will begin with a private tour of Torralba d’en Salort, one of the most beautiful and best preserved prehistoric settlements in Menorca, where we will later enjoy an evening menu by Bonita Menorca, the group behind the Binifadet Bodega flagship project.
On Saturday, we will visit St. Philips’s Castle with an expert guide, who will show us areas that are usually not open to visitors. After the tour, we will go to Sa Llagosta restaurant in Fornells to savour the seafood cuisine of chef David de Coca.
The first activity scheduled for Sunday is a breakfast at Son Felip estate, with local produce direct from the organic farm. The day will continue with a visit to Alaior Art Contemporani (LÔAC), one of the latest gallery additions to Minorca’s cultural scene, followed by lunch at the famous Sa Pedrera des Pujol restaurant.
The Séptimo Cielo experiences will always be carried out in compliance with the current health protocol and with small groups (the number of spots available each weekend is very limited). The price of our getaways includes all the scheduled activities, but not the travelling expenses to Majorca/Minorca or accommodation. However, we have hotels arranged for our clients on both islands.
Cristine Bedford is our hotel recommendation for Minorca.
